What is the Emirates ID, and why do you need it?

Step by step: how it works

UAE Pass is the country's official digital identity app. It lets you sign in to and use hundreds of government and private-sector services online, from checking your visa status to signing documents digitally, without visiting an office. Once your Emirates ID is issued, we'll guide you through registering and verifying your UAE Pass account.
Opening a savings bank account
A local bank account is essential for receiving your salary, paying rent and managing everyday expenses. Banks usually ask for your Emirates ID, your residence visa and proof of address or employment. Our package includes free help opening a UAE savings account, and we'll guide you through the requirements so the process goes smoothly. Final approval is decided by the bank.
Bringing your family
